IMPACT REPORTS ON SOME OF THE PROJECTS WE HAVE SUPPORTED SO FAR….
We are delighted and very grateful to be able to update you all with the fantastic progress that our local partners working in the field have been making with the help of the Teblez Mebrahtu Redeeming Light Foundation and other supporters.
FRIENDS OF ERITREA IN THE UK
A heart felt message from the Chairman of the Friends of Eritrea in the UK (Dr Zerai Woldehiwet) and the Adi Geda Elementary School who will benefit from the computers that have safely arrived in Eritrea:
“I am pleased to let you know that we have used your generous donation to buy the first batch of computers for Adi Geda Elementary School.
The computers were dispatched last month and the headmaster of the school, has just confirmed that the computers and related materials have arrived safely.
He has asked me to forward his message of gratitude and that of the School Rehabilitation Committee to you and everyone else who supported the project. Thank you so much. “
Wonderful news and we are so pleased to have been able to play a part in this! We hope and pray that the new IT equipment will help open the portals of learning and enable these children to explore the world from their corner of it.
HOPE ENTERPRISES

In the last year, the Hope Feeding Centre in Addis Ababa has had some amazing achievements:
• Offered daily nutritional support to 200
school children by providing a breakfast of a
bread roll, a banana, and
a cup of black tea.
• Provided lunch to 500 vulnerable adults
(including those who are elderly, pregnant,
and those living with disabilities), six days a
week.
• In addition to meals, Hope has delivered
holistic support, including counselling,
spiritual guidance, and basic education to all
700 beneficiaries. This approach not only strengthens community bonds but also promotes
personal development and raises awareness around health, hygiene, and sanitation.
•Sanitary materials, soap and sanitiser are being provided for those who need it.
• Hope has been encouraging street children to attend school, and in 2024, 40 children who
were previously out of education were reported to be attending regularly as a result.
SCWOP (SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN, WOMEN AND OLDER PEOPLE)

Extra packages of welfare support have been provided to grandparents caring for their orphaned grandchildren:
– 75 elders benefited from health care services
-87 elders received first stages of eye examinations
-All 1071 elders received psycho-social counselling support.
